MOOMAN'S MEGA MIDIS

A Place Where Mooman Puts His MIDIs

So, in absolutely no order, here's a buch of midis, with links to lyrics if they have them, and some notes because I feel like it.
In all my songs the vocal melody is played by the 'squarewave' instrument (the synthy sounding one).
If a song on an 'album' has a number before it, this is it's track listing position. If it doesn't, then I haven't decided it yet.
If a song seems to end really abruptly, it's probably meant to have a fade-out and I haven't put it in.
Also, I never claimed to be a great lyric writer...

My Concept Album (untitled)
Title of Song Lyrics Notes or Ramblings or Awesome
1. How to Make a Tragedy Lyrics First track on the 'album'.
(to be titled) part 1 - Part one of this song. One of my personal favourites. Download part 2, then set them up one after the other in your playlist for proper listening.
(to be titled) part 2 - Part two of this song. Download part 1, then set them up one after the other in your playlist for proper listening.
Martyr - Probably gonna be the title track. Nice and epic.
Take 'Em Down Lyrics A song about friendly fire. Probably gonna change some of the lyrics.
Aftermath Instrumental
Album is unfinished.

World Domination (1st album)
Title of Song Lyrics Notes or Ramblings or Awesome
1. World Domination Lyrics Based on all the big cliched 'take over the world' plots. Nice and quick opener.
2. Is This Religion (title pending) - This song was gonna be about my opinions on religion, but I've still not decided. Still pretty kickass, though.
3. He Who Works Alone - A song about gumshoe detectives?! YES!
4. End of Nothing - Essentially gonna be about how a lot of people are claiming the end of the world is nigh, which I disagree with. Really, quite a large departure from my usual stuff.
5. Lake of Fire Lyrics Really short, fast rocker.
6. Tax Evasion Instrumental I love the title for this one. It's also very folky.
7. The Last Stand Lyrics I will very much be changing the lyrics.
8. Brandish the Blades - Very, very epic. Probably one of my best works to date.
I'll probably be adding some more songs to this at some point, but it's fairly solid as it is.

2nd Album (untitled)
Title of Song Lyrics Notes or Ramblings or Awesome
1. Ultraviolent State Lyrics Haha, what a clever song title. About the competetive nature of life today.
(untitled) - Not sure what it should be about. But it does have a kickass filename.
Driving Rock (title pending) - Another untitled one. I like to call this one 'Driving Rock' as you can listen to it while driving and groove in your car. Or something.
Egads! It's almost a ballad!! (title pending) - Egads, indeed. Complete departure from usual stuff, even more so than last time. I think there may be a part in this that's supposed to speed up but doesn't. I'll fix it at some point.
Reaper Man Lyrics Your pal and mine, the Grim Reaper. Title taken from a lovely book that is lovely.
Rock Out Lyrics Feeling down? ROCK THA FACK OUT!
Shit Yeah Instrumental It's called 'Shit Yeah' cause that's what someone I know said when they heard it!
Intro | Dead By Dawn - Download both intro and song, then queue 'em up in a playlist. Based off the Evil Dead films. Probably one of the very best songs I'ver ever written.
Again, totally unfinished album.

Random Crap

Tough Bastard Lyrics A tribute song to AC/DC. They always sing about rock, women or being a tough bastard! Which is why they rule.
Lyrics Are For Chumps Instrumental This is actually a really old song. Some bits are quite good though. Definately needs a re-write.
Vigilante Injustice Lyrics My first ever epic! Also really quite old, and darts around too much with no real aim. Some good bits, though!
Ghostsbustahs! - A slightly more 'rockier' version of the Ghostbusters song. And why not?
Paperback Writah! - A slightly more 'rockier' version of Paperback Writer by the Beatles. Cause I love that song.
Trogdor the Burninatah! - An expanded and rocked out version of the Trogdor song from homstarrunner. Basically, after they made the CD I was completely underwhelmed by the new version of Trogdor, and wrote this.
Doctor Who is ROCKIN'! - An insanely more 'rockier' version of the Doctor Who theme.
Saga of Dark Elf (U Idoits!!!) - NOT A ROCK SONG! :O ! Story of the title: While playing Jedi Knight 2 online with a pal, some guy called Dark Elf joins the game and asks if we want to be elves. We say we're happy being stormtroopers with lightsabres. He gets angry and tries to vote getting me kicked off. Everyone says no. He then lets out the immortal cry of 'U Idoits!!!' and leaves. I love Dark Elf.
Hard to the Core - Hardcore Holly's theme. Don't know who Hardcore Holly is? Then you don't need to know. Do know who Hardcore Holly is? Then I REGRET NOTHING!
Powah Rangers - Unfinished sorta-re-mix of the full Power Rangers theme. It wasn't until recently that I recently how freakin' METAL that song is.

Game Re-Mixes
Title of Song Lyrics Notes or Ramblings or Awesome
Frostbite - A remix of Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3. The first remix I ever did.
Ride On - A remix of a game I can't remember, a song from Super Hang On and the main theme from Road Rash 2.
Chronological Disorder - Remix of the battle theme from Chrono Trigger. S'okay, it just drags on a bit.
Robotnik vs Eggman - ROBITNIK WINS! A medley from a load of Mega Drive boss themes from the Sonic games. Warning: 11 freakin' minutes long.
Deus Ex Machina - A remix of the main theme from Deus Ex.
Zelda Theme - VERY short re-mix of the main theme from the Zelda games. Don't expect much here, I was just messing around.

Random Themes
Throughout my adventures through the internet, I've been to many communities. At a few of theme, I randomly started writing themes for people. So here are some theme tunes. Most of these will be unfinished.

Tangerine Leather - Finished, and worth checking out.
Chicken Dance - Is not about chickens, and not really about dancing. Unfinished.
Jays - Unfinished.
I Know Who Judas Priest Are - Unfinished.
Japanese for the Sake of It - Unfinished (of course).
Ninjas and Exploding Trucks - Unfinished, but definately worth checking out. One of the better ones.
Saga of Sag - Finished!!!!! Also sorta worth checking out.

Pigeon Hunt3r
These are songs used for the game Pingeon Hunt3r (the third in the series) which is a series me and some pals are making at uni. None of the games are good enough fro any sort of release, but the songs are quite good. All are meant to loop so they're quite short.

Dark For an underground level.
Grassy For an outdoor level.
Ice For a *gasp* ice level.
Jazzy Never got used, so not for any level.
Jimmy Same deal as Jazzy.

Comic Genesis
Since I've been part of the CG community for a while now, yet do nto have a webcomic, I figured I should contribute in some way. And here are the results.

The Vorticus Boogie Instrumental Done for a project by my pal Vorticus. It was used as the background music to his 'dance club', but for some reason the music never worked on my computer. Ah well...
Mr Bob (You Rock My World) Lyrics Unavailable The infamous Mr Bob song. Apart from it being the first song I did for the CG peeps, it's actually a pretty darn good song in its own right.
A Year in Space Can't find 'em Written after spending my first year at the CG forums (back when it was called 'Keenspace'). Didn't really get that much of a reception (probably because I didn't mention anyone's names specificaly ;) ).
Maria and Michelle Honestly, I've no idea where I've put these lyrics... Written for Maria and Michelle, who enjoy men engaging in erotic activites. Fun Fact: The midi was originally titled 'Ingrates.mid' for completely unrelated reasons! :O

Ok, cutting it off here for now. But still to come are the oodles of RPG music I wrote and anything else I can find. Also, there's literally 300+ random riffs or the beginnings of songs that only go for one minute that I shan't bother to put up, but rest assured, I ain't done yet!!
